Sure! Here are some examples from my experiences.
Good Social Interaction: I remember attending a friend's birthday party, where I struck up a conversation with someone I hadn't met before. We discovered that we both had a passion for hiking and shared some favorite trails. The conversation flowed easily, and we ended up exchanging numbers to plan a hike together. I felt energised and excited to make a new friend, and it was great to connect over a shared interest.
Bad Social Interaction: On the other hand, I had an awkward experience during a networking event. I approached someone I thought I could connect with based on their work, but as I introduced myself, they seemed distracted and uninterested. I tried to share my thoughts about a project I was working on, but they barely engaged and quickly turned away to talk to someone else. I felt really deflated, as it was disheartening to put myself out there only to be met with indifference. It taught me that sometimes, not every interaction will be fruitful, and that’s okay.
