Answer in 2 sentences in a 6th grader’s response

-ir and -er ending verbs are very similar in their endings when they are conjugated. How do they differ in their endings they are conjugated?

1 answer

-ir and -er verbs have different endings when you change them based on who is doing the action. For example, for the verb "comer" (to eat), you say "comen" for they eat, while for "vivir" (to live), you say "viven" for they live, so the endings for -er and -ir verbs change differently!
