an object of mass 1kg falls a distance 5m on a horizontal surface and bounce to a vertical height of 2m.calculate the change in momentum

v down = sqrt (2 g h) = sqrt (2*9.8*5)
= 9.9 m/s

v up = sqrt (2 * 9.8*2)
= 6.26

change in momentu = m delta v = 1(9.9+6.26)
= 16.2 kg m/s

Nice one 👍
Joyce you recall

V² = U² + 2gh

But here u = 0

You now have

V = √2gh

So you use it to find the first and second velocity

Physical address
How did you get v down
It from the equation 🤗🤗
I really understand. Thank you ❤️❤️
