An earthquake of an unknown magnitude is 254 times stronger then an earthquake of magnitude of 2.4. What is the magnitude of this earthquake? Recall, that earthquakes can be compared using the formula 10^x/10^y' where y and x are the magnitudes of the earthquake.

log254=2.40
so it is magnitude 2.3+2.4=4.8
so it is magnitude 2.3+2.4=4.8
