I have a hard understanding of what my teacher means by this.
You can focus specifically on ADHD as a disability when discussing the effects on the family. If you just consider all disabilities in general, it would not be as effective.

I suggest you discuss the advantages and disadvantages of ADHD.
I saw an 8th grade boy with ADHD utterly devastated by his lack of impulse control. We were on a field trip and his medication had worn off. He tossed a pop can out the bus window, striking a passing car. The motorist stopped the bus -- and the chaperone calmed him down. But the boy who did it felt awful!!
On the other hand, some people claim that the great explorers all had ADHD or they wouldn't have ventured into so much new territory.
