25% w/w means 25 g NaCl/100 g soln.
Change 25 g to moles. moles = grams/molar mass.
Use mass = volume x density to determine the volume of the 100 g soln.
Then M = moles/L
An aqueous solution is 25 % mass % NaCI. The density of the solution is 1.05g/ml. What is the molarity of the solution?

Dr Bob, could you please tell me if this is right. Thanks again.
Molar Mass of Na = 22.990
Cl = 35.453
NaCl = 58.453 g/mol
Change g to moles…….
moles= grams/molar mass = (25g) / 58.453 g/mol = 0.427moles
Then M = moles/L
= .427 moles/ 0.0105
= 406.66
Molar Mass of Na = 22.990
Cl = 35.453
NaCl = 58.453 g/mol
Change g to moles…….
moles= grams/molar mass = (25g) / 58.453 g/mol = 0.427moles
Then M = moles/L
= .427 moles/ 0.0105
= 406.66
