Bold Brandy
Bold brandy bubbles blissfully,
Bathing brushy berries in bravery.
Burning barrels boast a big blaze,
Betrothal brings a beautiful gaze.
Brisk breeze blows, bringing blue blankets,
Beneath busy branches, blissful banter blankets.
Bouncing bugs bask in the bright beam,
Busy bees buzz and quickly scheme.
Borrowed books by a brown brick,
Broken bindings, but a brimming quick pick.
Benevolent birds beg for a treat,
Baby birds beckon to their beat.
Beneath the brilliant blue skies,
Boats bobbing boldly, never to compromise.
Barefoot boys brave the brutal waves,
Breathing in the beautiful beach bays.
Bold brandy, bursting with flavor,
Brisk and beautiful, always to savor.
Beneath the blue skies, forever to roam,
Brightening up our world, like a golden dome.
An alliteration poem is a poem that uses the poetic device alliteration. To start off this poem choose a consonant (letters of the alphabet except a, e, i, o, u). Then brainstorm words that start with this letter. Break the brainstormed words into lists classified by part of speech. Make sure you have nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs that start with this letter. The more words you have, the easier it will be to write the alliteration poem. Write a poem using as many of the words from your brainstorm as possible keeping in mind that your poem must make sense and must be related to your theme or one of your subtopics. You must alliterate one letter within your poem. However, you may wish to alliterate several letters by changing the letter being alliterated after every stanza or after every line.
