The inch measure is the diagonal distance across the screen. Since the ratios are all the same, you do not need to use in^2 = inches squared.
Just divide price by inches and arrange in order of value.
An advertisement for LED HDTVs lists the following prices for their different sizes (all have the same aspect ratio 9:16):

46-inch $ 1,449.99
