1) 22x^2 + 16x + 64 < 0

For this problem I got: -32 > x < 24

You can rewrite your inequality as
11x^2 + 8x + 32 <0
The minimum of the term on the left occurs at x=-4/11, and it is positive there. Therefore it has no solutions
