didn't I just give you the three steps? What did you not understand about those steps?

subtract x from each side, then subtract 9 from each side. Finally, divide both sides by 6

I' do apologize, It's just that I don't understand the operation. of the subtraction of x on both sides and so forth. If it's not too much asking, can you please show me? Thank you much.

7x+9>1x+3=

Subtract x from each side:
6x + 9 > 3

Subtract 9 from each side:
6x > -6

Divide by 6
x > -1
