After 1815 travel was greatly improved by all of the following Except:
a.) Construction of canals that made shipping of goods faster and less expensive
b.)by 1820 a national railroad network that encompassed over 150,000 miles of railroad had developed
c.)government financial support for large scale internal improvement projects
There were more but this is what I've narrowed it down to.
here are my thoughts, if you care to know:
I'm not sure if 'a' would be considered after 1815. For 'b' I know railroads were improved past 1815 but I'm not sure if it was 150,000 miles. and I'm not even sure what 'c' means...
Thanks for your time!

I think it's c. I don't know what is meant by that statement in light of the question.
I agree with Ms. Sue that the answer is c.
Basically, what the question and c as the answer are saying is that the federal government DIDN'T financially support "large scale internal improvement projects." And if you read up on the building of railroads across the US, most was done with private money.

I think it's b. There wasn't that many miles of railroad track in 1820.
