By the end of this lesson, learners should be able to:
1. Identify and pronounce words with the /ie/ and /ui/ vowel digraphs in Afrikaans.
2. Use their knowledge of /ie/ and /ui/ vowel digraphs to correctly read and spell words in a given text.
3. Apply their understanding of /ie/ and /ui/ vowel digraphs to decode unfamiliar words in a text.
4. Demonstrate an improvement in their ability to read and pronounce words with the /ie/ and /ui/ vowel digraphs accurately.
