Adicified aqueous Barium chloride is added in copper salt what is the test result

1 answer

If aqueous Barium chloride is added to a copper salt solution, a white precipitate of Barium sulphate will be formed. This is because Barium ions react with sulphate ions present in the copper salt solution to form Barium sulphate which is insoluble in water. The test result is a white precipitate formation.
