Read Article II, section 4.

Let us know what you think.
Article II Section 4 of the Constitution states that removal of the President and Vice President from office requires impeachment followed by conviction for "high crimes and misdemeanors". Other parts of the Constitution describe the removal process.

Article I Section 2 tells which branch of government has the sole power of impeachment.

The impeachment process is carried out by the House of Representatives, where only a majority vote is required. The Senate trial that follows impeachment requires a minimum 2/3 vote for conviction.
