Scroll down and read about Hector here:
http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/iliad/canalysis.html
Make note of his actions that demonstrate areté:
http://www.wsu.edu/~dee/GLOSSARY/ARETE.HTM
And here are some places to read up on Ajax:
http://www.class.uh.edu/mcl/Classics/3345/Ajax.Il.html
http://education.yahoo.com/homework_help/cliffsnotes/the_iliad/22.html
http://www.mlahanas.de/Greeks/Mythology/Ajax.html
Once you've decided on which actions and/or situations there are for each character, you can make your decision. You'll also be able to go back into the text (use Sparknotes' summaries to guide you, if you wish) to find the exact lines and quotations.
according to some excerpts of homers iliad, I have to argue about one of these points:
1. Hektor best represented the greek ideal of arete.
2. Aias(ajax) best represented the greek ideal of arete
and i must include specific examples of their behaviors (as recorded in the text) to support my position
SO CAN ANYONE PLEAAAAAAAASE HELP ME!!!!
