about how many diffrent rocks are there
Directly from the site I gave you:
"The three classes of rocks: the igneous, the sedimentary and the metamorphic — are subdivided into many groups. There are, however, no hard and fast boundaries between allied rocks. By increase or diminution in the proportions of their constituent minerals they pass by every gradation into one another, the distinctive structures also of one kind of rock may often be traced gradually merging into those of another." What this means is there is no exact perfect definition of what a rock is. If I were you. I'd just list the three basic types: igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic
it still does not say it!!!!!!!
i KNOW THERE ARE THREE MAIN TYPES OF ROCKS!!!!! BUT I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND YOU IM ONKLY IN 4TH GRADE WHAT GRADE ARE YOU IN
