All throughout my high school career, I have been a leading contributor in my school through my<~~delete "my" academics, community service, and school clubs. These areas of interest, along with my leadership and communication abilities, led to my passion for studying business. I rose to leadership in diverse groups of people in our school’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Philosophical Society, and Mock Trial clubs. In class, I enjoyed learning about the way successful businesses first started, implemented their<~~the businesses' ideas or the business leaders' ideas? ideas, and managed themselves<~~businesses managed themselves? to become successful. I also enjoyed classes in which I learned how to start a business and the legalities required to do so. This passion drove me to excel in my business courses and maintain a 4.0 GPA in all business classes throughout my four years of high school. As a University of Maryland student, I hope to pursue my desire to learn about general business practices and become an entrepreneur.
