A truck has a cylindrical tank 9 m long for transporting milk. The diameter of the tank is 2.8 m.

How much milk can it hold? (Use 3.14 for π.)

Volume = π r^2 h
= π(1.4)^2 (9)

= appr 55.418 m^3

= appr 554000 L, rounded to the nearest thousand litres.
Ok so you have to divide the diameter by 2 which is 1.4. Now we mutiply 3.14*1.4*2*9=79.128 2*3.14*1.4*1.4=3.5168 79.128+3.5168=82.6448 We can reduce this to get 82.6. What I did was just to see if the 4 was higher than five and it wasn't so we just have 6. I hohe this helps. :)
Unless you know what you are doing, it doesn't help to answer questions for other students incorrectly.

your line of :
3.14*1.4*2*9=79.128 2*3.14*1.4*1.4=3.5168 79.128+3.5168=82.6448

is total mathematical gibberish.
