A student needs to run an experiment to determine the amount of substance in the solution. As more of the substance is dissolved, the more red the solution becomes. He is planning on using an absorption spectrometer to measure how much of a wavelength would be absorbed when passing through the solution. What wavelength should he choose for measurements?

Always choose the complement of the color you see. If I see red I pick the complement which is green.
