I know i am not a teacher but..... i searched up the answer so here it is.. : So were they ever alive? Most biologists say no. Viruses are not made out of cells, they can't keep themselves in a stable state, they don't grow, and they can't make their own energy. Even though they definitely replicate and adapt to their environment, viruses are more like androids than real living organisms. And here is the sight i got it from: khanacademy.org
I hope that was helpful <3 :3

i think they changed the test bc @hi answers are out of order and some questions are not on there..
These answer's do not match up for me.
In three to five sentences, explain why animal cells do not require a cell wall or a central vacuole for their functions.
In a plant cell, they have a cell wall that protects and gives strength to the cell and provides support to the plant. Plant cells also have a large organelle called a vacuole, which stores water, sugar, waste, and other substances; It presses against the inside of the cell which makes it more rigid and gives it its shape. Although, an animal doesn’t require both of those since an animal’s body has some kind of skeleton or other means of providing structure or support.
