A soda cost A cents for each bottle, including the deposit, but there is a refund of B cents on each empty bottle. How much must you pay for X bottles if you bring back Y empties?

I need to know how to write an algebra Equation/Expression to solve this problem...Please Help...Thank You

The net cost per bottle is A-B (cents).
Multiply that by X for the total payment required (P).

P = X(A-B)
