a shipping crate contains 567 boxes of cereal. you open the top and count 12 across the front and 6 along the side. How many layers of boxes are in the crate?

Are you sure there aren't 576 boxes?

6 x 12 x 8 = 576

Eight layers would be completely filled in that case.
