i know V=lwh , but I'm getting the wrong answer! Please help.

I got 58/3 x 23/3 x 47/6 = 62.698/54=1.1790/54

Then what? if that's even right? I need to make the answer a mixed fraction

62.698/54=1.1790/54
how did you make this step?

62.698 ≠ 1.1790
I mutliplied 58x23x47 and got 62.698/54 then I divided 54 into that and got 1.1790. Obviously I'm not understanding something, going wrong here. I doubt the volume is that number and how do I make that a mixed fraction?

Sorry, Ms. Sue - I didn't understand the answer. I didn't mean to repost. Where are we suppose to ask questions?
If you had 47/5, how do you convert that to a mixed number? You do a division and see whether it comes out even.

47/5 = 9.4
So, now you know that you will have 9 + something.

9*5 = 45, so since 47= 45+2,

47/5 = (45+2)/5 = 45/5 + 2/5 = 9 2/5

You have 62698/54 = 1161.07
So, you know that you will have 1161 + something.

1161*54 = 62694, so

62698/54 = (62694+4)/54 = 62694/54 + 4/54 = 1161 4/54 = 1161 2/27
