A satellite has a mass of kg orbits the Earth in a circular path with radius 1.0e^7m.
What is the period of the satellite?
I think I already posted this but I am still confused. My teacher said to use
T= 2(pi)r^3/2 / sqrt GmE
So I just plugged the numbers in
T= 2(pi)(1.oe^7)^3/2 / sqrt (6.67e^-11)(5.98e^24) and I got 9914.06 but the answer choices given are in hours so do I have to convert to minutes and then to hours?

yes, T is in seconds. If you want it in minutes, or hours, convert it.
