Change 24', 18', and 9' to yards.
Then length x width = area in square feet for a wall. That times 4 walls = ??

i really do not get it can you break the problem down a little bettr so i could get better understanding
As DrBob recommended, first change the feet to yards.
24' = 8 yds
18' = 6 yds
9' = 3 yds
Two walls measure 8 by 3. Each of the long walls is 24 sq. m. Two long walls are 48 sq. m.
Now do the same for the short walls.
