A recipe calls for 2\2\4 cups of raisins But I only have a 1\4 cup how many 1\4 cups do I need

If you mean 2 2/4, that's 10/4

1/4 / 1/4 = 10

yet, who actually writes 2 2/4 instead of 2 1/2? I suspect a typo.

And lose the \\\'s. Try /// for fractions.
