I don't know the answer to the question but there are no units on a.
Isn't 3 mm and 0.003 m the same thing? So it can't be b or c and you KNOW it isn't 3m. So it must be 0.003 whatever unit you omitted.

I found a web site that said average size was 6 micrometers diameter; 3 mm is 3 micrometers so if that was radius it would be about right.
