755/18
I have a sneaking suspicion that there is more to this question.
Surely they then ask for the average velocity for the entire round trip which is zero because you return to the same spot and the total displacement is zero.
A race car travels northward on a straight, level track at a constant speed travels 0.755 km in 18.0 s. The return trip over the same track is made in 23.0 s.
(a) What is the average velocity of the car in m/s for the first leg of the run?
