A photon of ultraviolet (UV) light possesses enough energy to mutate a strand of human DNA. What is the energy of a single UV photon having a wavelength of 24 nm?

What is the energy of a mole of UV photons having a wavelength of 24 nm?

E = h*c/wavelength.
You know h, c, and wavelength. Calculate E (in Joules).
E of a mol is the above E x 6.02 x 10^23 photons/mole.
Post your work if you get stuck.
IM STUCK..what did u get as a answer?
I didn't work it. I just told you how to work it.
What is your problem? You know h,c, and wavelength. h is Planck's constant, c is speed of light, wavelength is given. Change that to meters before using it. Plug and chug!
I'm going to bed but if you will tell me what your problem is (what you don't understand about the formula or the numbers) I will take care of it first thing in the morning. Of course, another tutor may help you before morning (or perhaps very early in the morning).
