This is a tough one -- but studying this definition and etymology -- it must be A.

hemothorax is an accumulation of blood/fluid in the plueral cavity, ussually caused bt trauma. i would go with D. a good book every nurse should have, i do, is MOSBY'S DICTIONARY.
