A mechanical toy on a circular track goes forward 3in. and then backwards 2in. How many MOVES does the toy take to complete one 15in. revoltion of the track?

It makes a net motion of one inch forward on each move, right?
I think it would be
n(3 - 2) = 15
n = 15
I tried this formula for different variations, ie, forward 3, back 1 for 6 in revolution, forward 4, back 2 for 8 in revolution and it worked.
