g on earth = 9.8 m/s^2
75 kg x (2.21/9.8) = ??kg.
A man weighs 75 kg. What is his weight on the moon, where g=2.21 m/s2

Just a minor correction. kg is a measure of Mass, not weight. If his mass is 75kg on Earth, his mass on the Moon is 75kg.
A better question for thinking is this: If a man has a mass of 75kg on Earth, when he is on the moon, what does the moon weigh?
Nice Question.
The answer has to do with what is weight? It is the force between two gravitational objects, in this case, the moon and a 75kg man. The scale will read 75*2.21Newton when he stands on it. This is also the weight of the moon....you can think on that for awhile.

The weight of a man with mass of 75 kg on earth is:
75 * 9.8 = 735 Newtons
The weight of a man with mass of 75 kg on the moon is:
75*2.21 = 166 Newtons
Mass in kg is basic and does not depend on local gravitational acceleration.
Weight in Newtons is force and does indeed depend on the local gravitational acceleration as well as any other acceleration of the coordinates.

The acceleration due to gravity on the moon is 1.7m/s2. What is the mass of a 10kg object on the moon
