distance = sqrt (3^2 + 4^2) = 5

sin angle north of east = 3/5 = 0.6
sqrt (3^2 + 4^2) ...pls break this down, don't understand how its equal to 5. Thanks
square root (3^2 + 4^2) = 9 + 16 = 25 square root of 25 equals 5
