density of water = 1 gram / cubic centimeter (chemistry) or 1000 kilograms / cubic meter (physics)

5.22 g/cc or 5220 kg/m^3
Relative density is the RATIO of the density of the substance to the density of some standard. The usual standard is water @ 4 degrees C where the density is 0.9998395 g/ml. Specific gravity is another term for relative density when water @ 4 C is used as the standard. So
R.D = density of a substance/density of the standard
5.22 = density of the substance/0.9998395. Considering that the problem has a density to only three places it hardly seems worth worrying about. For practical purposes, most chemists I know about consider specific gravity = density as a practical matter.
