A gardener has to lay a grass lawn, leaving space for an 80 cm wide concrete path along the inside edge of a square garden with an area of 72.25 meter square. what will be the area of the grass lawn?

length and width decreased by 0.80 * 2 = 1.6 m
L = w = sqrt 72.25 = 8.5 m
A = (8.5 -1.6)^2
