A force of 80N acts on a body initially at rest and moves 72m in 6s. If the force is removed after 6s calculate how far the body moves after 6s

2 answers

x = xo + Vo t + (1/2) a t^2
72 = (1/2) a (36)
a = 4 m/s^2

v = Vo + a t
at t = 6
v = 0 + 4*6
v = 24 m/s

that is initial Vo at 6

if there is no friction, it continues at 24 m/s for 6 s
24 * 6 = 144 m more
thanks a lot Damon
