A compound of Tin Sulfate is decomposed in the lab to give 1.91g of Tin, 1.03 grams of Sulfur, and 2.06g Oxygen. Determine if this is a compound of Tin(II) Sulfate or Tin(IV) Sulfate.

Convert g to mols.
mol = g/atomic mass.

Then find the ratio of the elements to each other with the smallest being 1.00.
The easy way to do that is to divide the smallest number by itself; then divide the other numbers by the same small number.
