We did the previous problem for you. It is very similar to this problem. Please try it. It is really just trig.

D/5.8= 1.2/2.8
D= (5.8x1.2)/2.8
D= 2.48m

2.8/(3+x) = 1.2/x,
2.8• x =1.2•3+1.2•x,
x=3.6/1.6=2.25 m
