A certain wave is incident on an interface at an angle of 40 deg. The wave emerges into the other material at an angle of 30 deg. Crossing the interface, the wave:

c. maintained constant

I think reduces its speed, but I'm not sure, so I'm caught between b and d....

i think it would be b too bc the degress dropps from 40 to 30 so im saying your right on b
When in doubt, use snell's law.
N1Sin40=N2sin30
N1/N2=sin30/sin40
which means N1 is less than N2, which means N2 the speed is slower. b
