you must know that distance = speed * time. So, just use that!
35min @ 60 km/hr = 35km
So, since 1:15 = :35 + :40, he drove for 40 min at 60 km/hr, retracing his route for 40 km.
So, 35km wrong way, 40 km right way, leaves him 5 km on his way to his destination.
When you get stuck, it's always helpful (to us, anyway), to see just what you tried. That way we can
(a) see where you went wrong, and
(b) assure ourselves that you didn't just doodle around and then give up and wait for someone to do it for you.
A car travelling at 60km/hr started a journey travelling in an oppsite direction to his destination.After travelling for 35min the driver realised his mistake he then turn the car back around and started travelling in the correct direction.how far away is he from his starting point after travelling for 1hour15mins.......???
