sometimes it helps if you just relate the problem to a specific numerical case.
e.g. supposed you were asked how far a car going 60 km/h would go in 3 hours.
the answer is clearly 180 km
What did we do to get 180 ?
we multiplied 3 by 60
so if the time is y hours instead of 3 hours, we would then multiply y by 60, which would be 60y km
distance = 60y
A Car is moving at an average speed of 60 km/h. Find the algebraic expression for the kilometer it would travel in y minutes.
