The vertical component of Earth's magnetic field in this region is 40.0 µT directed downward. Calculate the induced emf between the ends of the wire and determine which end is positive.

*I tried using the formula E=Blv where B is the magnetic field (4.0e-5 T), but the program says I'm off by a multiple of ten. I'm assuming I'm making a stupid mistake, but I can't figure out what it is!

BLv is correct. 40E-6*2.40*15.1=1.45mVolts I get.
