a 12 gallon tank is filled with water at the rate off 1/4 gallon in 5 seconds. At this rate, how long will it take to fill 5/6 of the tank?

5/6 = 10/12 <~~right?

1/4 gallon in 5 seconds = 1 gallon in 20 seconds <~~right? (Do you see why?)

How long will it take to fill the tank to the 10-gallon mark?

Yes i get it :)) The answer will be 200 seconds but why we need to ffind how low will take to fill 10 gallons i??
