A 40.0kg sample of concrete has 10% zinc impurity (by mass). If 6.0x10^4J of thermal energy is added to the sample, determine the change in temperature.

m₂=4 kg, c₂=387 J/kg•K

Q=m₁c₁ΔT + m₂c₂ΔT =
= ΔT(m₁c₁ + m₂c₂).

ΔT= Q/(m₁c₁ + m₂c₂)=
=60000/(36•880+4•387) = 1.8 K
