how do you figure this out I went home sick today and this is the homework I missed in class today. Can anybody tell me how to do this I have a work sheet on how to figure mass density and volume.

The formula for density is mass ÷ volume, or Mass divided by Volume.
For example:
2000g ÷ 4000cm³ = .5 g/cm³
The end unit, [in this case, g/cm³] is the unit of mass [in this case, grams], slash, unit of volume [in this case cm³]. This would make the unit g/cm³.
