I need help writing 57/18 as a mixed number. Can somebody show me how to do it .Because I'm not understanding what to do.

Divide 57 by 18.

57/18 = 3 3/18 = 3 1/6

Probably shouldn't tell you this, but there is "magic" fraction button on your calculator that does all your operations in fraction form

look for a key labeled: a b/c

to enter 57/18

57
a b/c
18
=

see what you get ?
now press
2ndF
a b/c

and 2ndF
a b/c again, WOW

notice the symbol that looks like an "r" separates the mixed fraction into into 3 parts.
