24 oz x (1 lb/16 oz) = 1.5 lbs.
Total weight = 3 lb + 1.5 lb = 4.5 lbs.
Total weight = 3 lb + 1.5 lb = 4.5 lbs.

It's the full amount of oz into pounds, if you add 3lb with 1.5 lb it's 4.5 lb, but the correct answer is 1.5
