How do you pronounce Tariq and Karim? Which syllabel do we have to stress in each proper noun? The first syllabl or the second syllable?

Those are not common American names, so I have to guess. I believe both would stress the second syllable with a long eee vowel sound.

You stress both the i's in the way Ms. Sue said. Say "Tar" and "Kar" without stressing anything.
