I am writing an essay after reading the first 3 chapters of "Brave New World" about how genetic engineering produced the society. What are the motives behind genetic engineering according to Huxley? Has genetic engineering "Improved" lives of the peopel in "Brave New World"?

According to the characters in the book, their lives have been improved. Through genetic engineering everyone is conditioned to love their job, social class, and lifestlye they are "destined" to have. Reading, I think it ways it has improved; however, this presents many drawbacks. They do not know the concept of family or love. They have no clue what it even feels like. They also have no say in their aspirations or social rights. (As I said earlier, they are conditioned for their destiny -- chosen by a man)
The motives are simply to produce humans that love their jobs to improve the efficency of the workers in the work place.
