If a disease is transmitted from 1 individual to 2 more each week, and we began with 2 individuals being ill, how many weeks until at least 30 people are infected?

If there are now n sickos, then the next week there will be n+2n=3n. After x weeks there will be n*3^x sick.

So, we need 2*3^x >= 30
3^x >= 28
x >= 3
